Host clubs shall have the tables brushed clean and blocked before 7:30 p.m. No host club player is permitted to practice on a match table after 7:15pm. The visiting team shall be permitted to play from 7.15pm. until 7.30 p.m. to gauge the pace of the table.

2. Team Lists

The names of players in both teams must be entered on the official score card by 7:30 p.m. Teams will comprise of 4 players seeded 1-4 in order of ability. The order will be taken from the rankings list provided from last season. For those players who do not appear on the list, the team captains should endeavour to place them in order of true ability, where No. 1 equals the strongest and so on. Such players will be placed at bottom level of the ranking for their respective grade unless the League committee is aware of the player's ability and is able to place them more accurately. The seed-ranking list will be continually updated and should be up to date by Week 3. After this time the order from the rankings list is to be used.

3. Starting Time

The "miss rule" will not be played or enforced during the course of the league due to the limited numbers of persons who are qualified as referees, and the problems this has caused in past seasons. The "miss rule" may apply during the Finals if suitably qualified referees are in attendance and both team captains agree to its application for the match. A deliberate miss is already covered in the rules of Snooker and such rules will continue to apply.

6. Matches
